Text Box: MISSION VIEJO HIGH SCHOOL SADDLEBACK LEAGUE TRYOUTS Tue Jan 15 and Thurs Jan 17th from 3:30 – 5:00pm in Irvine for MVHS! These dates and times are set by the Saddleback District. This is the league where you get PE credits and it is your 7th period at school. You will play 9 games and have 8-9 practices and will be bussed to and from school by district buses. Cost is about $150.00 for the buses and another $200-$250.00 for league/ coaching fees.   What you need to know BEFORE try outs:    Physical must be ON FILE for every player that wants to attend try outs (done within the last 12 months). Paperwork packets are to be picked up at the front office. The school will not allow anyone that does NOT have a physical on file to even try out this year! Showing up to both days would be encouraged! Jim can only have 1 Varsity and 1 JV team, so a lot of players will be cut. For those players that want to play anyway, we will try to make 1-2 teams t that will play in the post IHF league in Irvine, No PE credits for this though.       No cost for try outs       In order to play, you will need to be cleared by the school for your GPA, it needs to be at least a 2.0!
